About Shaunn
Having grown up in California, going to school on the East Coast was a real change for me.
From 1980-1987 while living there, I managed several buildings and tenant associations in New York City.
In 1987 I moved back to California and started working in Santa Barbara at the University of California on the campus located there in Santa Barbara as a computer technician. At the time, I did not realize that this was one of the most beautiful places in the world to live.
In 1988 I started a service-oriented business. Because I have wanted to be of service to people, I have always engaged in volunteer community work since 1980 wherever I have lived.
In 1999, I obtained a real state license from the State of California's Department of Real Estate (CA-DRE lic # 01254411). I began working at Quality Mortgage in Santa Barbara in 1999 as a Mortgage Loan Officer.
In 2001 I used my real estate license to begin working as a Real Estate Agent and since then have worked at the following companies while living in Santa Barbara: W.E. Tingle Brokerage, Sterling Properties (Realty company), Coldwell Banker, Keller Williams, Town 'n Country Realty & Management.
In November 2022 I joined eXp Realty. It was the best move I have ever made since becoming a licensed Realtor. As of January 2023 I took the position of Training Manger at Now Realty Team brokered by eXp Realty.
In 2026 I joined my brother (we now are the Howze team) to assist buyers and sellers all of Santa Barbara County.
Due to my love for serving others, during my short real estate career, I have been able to help many people obtain their dream home. I have been privileged to help people sell their home to re-locate and at times use the proceeds for investment purposes or whatever else they have wanted to do. I have helped clients with the purchase and sale of land (some for farming other times for being able to build their own homes). I have been able to help clients sell their businesses and commercial property as well.
